Mini Corn Dogs

Prepare the Batter
In a large bowl, mix together cornmeal, flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt. In a separate bowl, whisk together milk and egg. Combine wet and dry ingredients until just mixed.

Heat Oil
In a deep pot or deep fryer, heat vegetable oil to 350°F (175°C).

Prepare Hot Dogs
Insert wooden sticks into each hot dog.

Fry the Corn Dogs
Dip each hot dog into the batter to coat and carefully place in hot oil. Fry until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes. Remove and drain on paper towels.

Prepare frozen French fries according to package instructions, either baking or frying until crispy.
Assemble the Meal
