Batter Preparation
- 1
Make the Batter
In a mixing bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, and salt. Mix well. Gradually add milk and vanilla extract, whisking until the batter is smooth and free of lumps.
- 2
Heat the Oil
In a deep frying pan or pot, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat until it reaches 350°F (175°C).
Frying Oreos
- 3
Dip the Oreos
Carefully dip each Double Stuff Oreo in the prepared batter, ensuring they are fully coated.
- 4
Fry the Oreos
Gently place the battered Oreos in the hot oil. Fry for about 2-3 minutes or until they turn golden brown, turning them halfway through for even cooking.
- 5
Drain Excess Oil
Remove the fried Oreos and place them on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.
Horchata Whipped Cream Preparation
- 6
Make the Whipped Cream
In a chilled mixing bowl, whip the heavy whipping cream until it begins to thicken. Gradually add powdered sugar, cinnamon, vanilla extract, and horchata, continuing to whip until soft peaks form.
