Braised Pork Belly

Prepare the Pork Belly
Season the pork belly with salt and black pepper. In a large pot, heat a small amount of oil over medium heat and sear the pork belly on all sides until golden brown.

Braise the Pork
Add garlic, bay leaves, chicken broth, soy sauce, and honey to the pot. Bring to a simmer, cover, and reduce heat to low. Braise for 2 to 3 hours, or until the pork is tender.

Cool and Slice
Once cooked, remove the pork belly from the pot and let it cool slightly. Slice into thick pieces.
Grilled Vegetables

Prepare the Vegetables
In a large bowl, toss the zucchini, bell peppers, and asparagus with olive oil, salt, pepper, and balsamic vinegar.

Grill the Vegetables
Preheat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat. Grill the vegetables for about 5-7 minutes or until tender and slightly charred.
Plating

Serve
On a plate, arrange the grilled vegetables and top them with slices of braised pork belly. Drizzle with some of the braising liquid if desired.
