Prepare Dough

1

Mix Ingredients

Prepare Filling

3

Combine Red Bean Paste

In a small bowl, mix red bean paste and brown sugar until well combined. Set aside.

Form Sesame Balls

4

Shape the Dough

Once the dough has rested, divide it into equal portions (about 1 oz each).

5

Fill the Dough

Flatten each piece of dough in your palm, add a teaspoon of the red bean filling in the center, and carefully wrap the dough around the filling to form a ball.

6

Coat with Sesame Seeds

Roll each ball in sesame seeds until thoroughly coated.

Fry the Sesame Balls

7

Heat Oil

In a deep frying pan, heat vegetable oil over medium heat until it reaches 350°F (175°C).

8

Fry the Balls

Carefully add the sesame balls to the hot oil in batches, frying until golden brown on all sides, about 5-7 minutes.

9

Drain Excess Oil

Remove the sesame balls from the oil and drain on paper towels.
