Prepare the Biscuit Dough
In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking powder, and salt. Cut in the unsalted butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Stir in the milk until just combined.

Shape and Bake
Turn the dough out onto a floured surface and knead gently for about 30 seconds. Pat the dough to about 1 inch thick, then cut into rounds using a biscuit cutter. Place on a baking sheet and bake at 425°F (220°C) for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.

Cook the Bacon
In a skillet over medium heat, cook the bacon slices until crispy. Remove and let drain on paper towels, then chop into pieces.

Prepare the Cheese
Grate or slice the cheddar cheese and set aside for assembly.
Sausage Gravy

Cook the Sausage
In a saucepan over medium heat, cook the ground sausage until browned and fully cooked. Drain excess fat if necessary.

Make the Gravy
Sprinkle the all-purpose flour over the cooked sausage and stir to combine. Gradually add the milk, stirring continuously until the mixture thickens. Season with salt and black pepper.

Assemble the Atomic Cowboy
To assemble, split the warm biscuit in half. Layer the bottom half with bacon pieces, followed by a fried egg, and top with cheddar cheese. Spoon the sausage gravy generously over the top and place the biscuit top on. Serve hot.
