Method

Dough Preparation

  1. 1

    Activate the Yeast

In a small bowl, combine warm water (110°F) and sugar. Sprinkle yeast over the water and let it sit for about 5-10 minutes until frothy.

  2. 2

    Mix the Dough

In a large mixing bowl, combine all-purpose flour and salt. Add the activated yeast mixture and olive oil. Mix until a dough forms.

  3. 3

    Knead the Dough

Transfer the dough onto a floured surface and knead for about 8-10 minutes until smooth and elastic.

  4. 4

    Let the Dough Rise

Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a damp cloth, and let it rise in a warm area for 1-2 hours or until doubled in size.

Topping the Pizzas

  1. 5

    Prepare Cheese Pie

Preheat the oven to 475°F (245°C). Roll out 1/3 of the dough into a 20-inch round. Place it on a pizza stone or baking sheet. Spread 1 cup of pizza sauce evenly over the base, then sprinkle 4 cups of mozzarella and 1 cup of Parmesan cheese on top.

  2. 6

    Prepare Pepperoni Pie

Roll out another 1/3 of the dough into a 20-inch round. Place it on a pizza stone or baking sheet. Spread another cup of pizza sauce, then evenly distribute 2 cups of pepperoni slices over the cheese.

  3. 7

    Prepare Specialty Pie

Roll out the remaining dough into a 20-inch round. Choose your specialty toppings (garden, meat lovers, or supreme). For garden, add 1 cup each of bell peppers, mushrooms, and onions. For meat lovers, add 1 cup each of sausage and cooked bacon. For supreme, combine all toppings including black olives.

Baking the Pizzas

  1. 8

    Bake the Pizzas

Place each pizza in the preheated oven and bake for 12-15 minutes or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is bubbling.

  2. 9

    Slice and Serve

Remove the pizzas from the oven, let them cool slightly, slice them into wedges, and serve hot.
