Coffee Base

Iced Coffee Preparation

Method

Coffee Brewing

  1. 1

    Brew the Coffee

In a large pot or French press, combine the coarse ground coffee with 4 cups of hot water. Stir gently to ensure all coffee grounds are saturated. Allow the coffee to steep for 12-24 hours at room temperature or in the fridge for a cold brew effect.

  2. 2

    Strain the Coffee

After steeping, strain the coffee through a fine mesh sieve or a coffee filter into a clean container to remove the coffee grounds. Your coffee concentrate is now ready.

Iced Coffee Assembly

  1. 3

    Prepare the Glass

Fill a tall glass with 2 cups of ice cubes.

  2. 4

    Mix the Coffee

Pour the brewed coffee concentrate over the ice until the glass is filled to your desired level, typically about 1-2 cups.

  3. 5

    Add Milk and Sweetener

If desired, add 0.5 cups of milk and sweetener to taste. Stir gently to combine.

  4. 6

    Enhance Flavor

For added flavor, you can also add 0.5 tsp of vanilla extract. Stir again to mix well.
