Strawberry Rhubarb Jam

    Strawberry Rhubarb Jam

      Prepare the Fruit

      Wash the strawberries and remove the stems. Chop them into small pieces. Prepare the rhubarb by washing and chopping it into small pieces.

      Cook the Ingredients

      In a large pot, combine the strawberries, rhubarb, sugar, and lemon juice. Cook over medium heat, stirring frequently until the mixture comes to a boil.

      Add Pectin

      Once boiling, stir in the pectin and boil for an additional 1-2 minutes.

      Jar the Jam

      Pour the jam into sterilized jars, seal, and process in a water bath for 10 minutes.

    Bourbon Blueberry Jam

      Wash the blueberries and remove any stems.

      In a large pot, combine the blueberries, sugar, and lemon juice. Cook over medium heat until the mixture begins to boil.

      Stir in the bourbon and pectin, and boil for another 1-2 minutes.

    Apple Butter

      Peel and chop the apples into small pieces.

      In a slow cooker, combine apples, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and apple cider. Cook on low for 8 hours or until apples are completely soft.
