Dough Preparation

Mix Dry Ingredients
In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar until well combined.

Make the Dough
Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients. Stir until just combined. Do not overmix. The dough should be soft and slightly sticky.
Rolling and Filling

Prepare the Surface
Lightly flour a clean surface. Turn the dough out onto the floured surface.

Roll the Dough
Using a rolling pin, roll the dough into a rectangle about 1/4 inch thick.

Add Filling
Spread the softened butter evenly over the rolled dough. In a small bowl, mix the brown sugar and ground cinnamon, then sprinkle it evenly over the buttered dough.

Roll Up
Starting from one long edge, carefully roll the dough up into a tight log. Pinch the seam to seal.
Baking

Slice the Rolls
Using a sharp knife, cut the rolled dough into 6 equal pieces for half-sized rolls.

Prepare for Baking
Place the sliced rolls in a greased baking dish, leaving some space between each roll.

Bake
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Bake the rolls for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown.
Icing Preparation

Make the Icing
In a medium bowl, whisk together the powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.

Drizzle Icing
Once the rolls are baked and slightly cooled, drizzle the icing over the top of each roll.
