Method

Biscuit Preparation

  1. 1

    Preheat the Oven

Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).

  2. 2

    Mix Dry Ingredients

In a large mixing bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar. Mix well.

  3. 3

    Cut in Butter

Add the unsalted butter to the dry ingredients. Use a pastry cutter or your fingers to mix until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.

  4. 4

    Add Milk

Pour in the milk and stir gently until just combined. Do not overmix.

  5. 5

    Form Biscuits

Turn the dough out onto a floured surface. Pat it into a rectangle about 1-inch thick. Use a biscuit cutter or a glass to cut out biscuits.

  6. 6

    Bake the Biscuits

Place the biscuits on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown.

  7. 7

    Cool Slightly

Remove the biscuits from the oven and let them cool for a few minutes.

Assembly

  1. 8

    Prepare the Sundae

Cut a warm biscuit in half and place the bottom half on a serving dish.

  2. 9

    Add Ice Cream

Place 2 scoops of vanilla ice cream on top of the biscuit half.

  3. 10

    Drizzle with Chocolate Sauce

Drizzle chocolate sauce generously over the ice cream.

  4. 11

    Add Toppings

Top with whipped cream, chocolate shavings, and chopped nuts as desired.

  5. 12

    Serve Immediately

Serve the biscuit sundae warm and enjoy!
