Preparing the Pork
- 1
Season the Pork
Rub the pork shoulder with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and cayenne pepper until evenly coated.

In a medium saucepan, combine ketchup, apple cider vinegar, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, smoked paprika, mustard, black pepper, and garlic powder.

Shred the Pork
Once the pork is cooked, remove it from the slow cooker and shred it using two forks.
- 6
Mix with BBQ Sauce
Combine the shredded pork with the homemade BBQ sauce, ensuring the pork is well-coated.
