Method

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Filling

In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic, cooking until the onion is translucent. Stir in cumin, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Cook for an additional 2 minutes until fragrant. Remove from heat and let cool.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Puff Pastry

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) for the egg wash. Roll out the thawed puff pastry sheets on a lightly floured surface. Cut each sheet into 4 equal squares.

  3. 3

    Assemble the Fritters

Place a spoonful of the beef mixture in the center of each pastry square. Fold the pastry over to create a triangle, sealing the edges by pressing with a fork. Brush the tops with the beaten egg.

  4. 4

    Fry the Fritters

In a deep frying pan, heat the oil over medium-high heat. Once hot, carefully place a few fritters in the pan without overcrowding. Fry until golden brown on both sides, about 3-4 minutes per side. Remove and drain on paper towels.

  5. 5

    Serve

Serve the fritters warm with your signature sauce for dipping.
