Cooking Steps

  1. 1

    Prepare the Picanha

Season the picanha steak with salt, black pepper, and garlic powder on both sides.

  2. 2

    Cook the Picanha

In a skillet over medium-high heat, add olive oil. Once hot, add the picanha steak and sear for about 5-7 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or until desired doneness. Remove from heat and let rest for a few minutes before slicing.

  3. 3

    Cook the Eggs

In the same skillet, reduce the heat to medium. Crack the eggs into the skillet and cook to your preference (sunny-side up, over easy, etc.). Season with salt and pepper.

  4. 4

    Plate the Dish

Slice the rested picanha steak and arrange it on a plate. Top with the cooked eggs and garnish with fresh parsley if desired.
