Method

Cheesecake Filling

  1. 1

    Prepare the crust

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). In a bowl, mix the graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and sugar until well combined. Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan. Bake for 10 minutes, then remove from the oven and let cool.

  2. 2

    Make the cheesecake filling

In a large mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth. Add the sugar, vanilla extract, and eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Pour the cheesecake filling over the cooled crust.

  3. 3

    Bake the cheesecake

Bake in the preheated oven for 50-60 minutes, or until the center is set but slightly jiggly. Turn off the oven and let the cheesecake cool in the oven with the door ajar for about 1 hour.

  4. 4

    Prepare the apple topping

In a skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the sliced apples, cinnamon, and sugar. Cook until the apples are tender, about 5-7 minutes. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.

  5. 5

    Add caramel

Drizzle caramel sauce over the cheesecake and then add the cooked apples on top. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight before serving.
