Cilantro Hummus Preparation
- 1
Blend the Ingredients
In a food processor, combine the canned chickpeas, tahini, fresh cilantro, minced garlic, lemon juice, olive oil, cumin powder, salt, and water.
- 2
Process Until Smooth
Blend the mixture until it reaches a smooth consistency. If the hummus is too thick, add a little more water, one tablespoon at a time, until the desired consistency is achieved.
- 3
Taste and Adjust
Taste the hummus and adjust the seasoning if necessary, adding more salt or lemon juice to suit your preference.
- 4
Transfer and Chill
Transfer the hummus to a serving bowl, cover, and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
Dipping Vegetables Preparation
- 5
Prepare the Vegetables
Wash and cut the carrots, cucumbers, bell peppers, and cherry tomatoes as described in the ingredients section.
- 6
Arrange on a Tray
Arrange the prepared vegetables in an aesthetically pleasing manner on a large serving tray.
Pita Bread Preparation
- 7
Cut the Pita
Cut the pita bread into triangles and arrange them on the tray alongside the vegetables and hummus.
