Tomato Topping

Prepare the Tomatoes
Dice the Roma tomatoes into small cubes and place them in a mixing bowl.

Add Basil
Chop the fresh basil leaves and add them to the bowl with the tomatoes.

Mix in the Flavors
Minced the garlic cloves and add them to the mix along with balsamic vinegar, olive oil, salt, and black pepper. Stir gently to combine.

Let it Marinate
Allow the tomato mixture to sit for at least 15 minutes at room temperature to let the flavors meld.

Prepare the Baguette
Slice the baguette into 1/2 inch thick slices.

Toast the Crostini
Place the slices on a baking sheet and toast in a preheated oven at 400°F (200°C) for 8-10 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy.
Serving

Assemble the Bruschetta
Spread a layer of goat cheese on each crostini slice.

Top with Tomato Mixture
Spoon the marinated tomato mixture generously over the goat cheese.

Arrange the bruschetta on a serving platter and serve immediately.
