Cooking Instructions
- 1
Prepare the Filling
In a mixing bowl, combine ground pork, chopped cabbage, green onions, minced garlic, minced ginger, soy sauce, sesame oil, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
- 2
Assemble the Gyoza
Take a gyoza wrapper and place about a tablespoon of filling in the center. Moisten the edges of the wrapper with water. Fold the wrapper in half and pinch the edges to seal, creating pleats if desired.
- 3
Pan-Fry the Gyoza
Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and add a little oil. Arrange the gyoza in the skillet and fry for 2-3 minutes until the bottoms are golden brown.
- 4
Steam the Gyoza
Add about 1/4 cup of water to the skillet and cover immediately. Steam the gyoza for about 5 minutes or until the water evaporates.
- 5
Serve
Remove the lid and let the gyoza cook for an additional minute to crisp up the bottoms. Serve hot with soy sauce or your favorite dipping sauce.
