Directions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Lemon-Dill Butter

In a small saucepan, melt the unsalted butter over low heat. Once melted, stir in the lemon juice, chopped dill, minced garlic, salt, and black pepper. Mix well and set aside.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Salmon

Brush the salmon fillets with olive oil and season with salt and black pepper. Allow the salmon to sit for about 10 minutes to absorb the flavors.

  3. 3

    Preheat the Grill

Prepare your woodfire grill for direct grilling. Make sure the grill is hot before placing the salmon on it.

  4. 4

    Grill the Salmon

Place the salmon fillets skin-side down on the grill. Grill for about 5-6 minutes, then carefully flip the fillets and baste with the lemon-dill butter. Grill for an additional 4-5 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.

  5. 5

    Serve

Remove the salmon from the grill and let it rest for a couple of minutes. Serve hot with additional lemon-dill butter drizzled on top.
