Preparation Instructions

  1. 1

    Grill the Salmon

Preheat a woodfire grill to medium-high heat. Season the salmon fillets with salt and black pepper. Place the salmon skin-side down on the grill and cook for about 6-8 minutes per side, or until the salmon is cooked through and has nice grill marks. Remove from heat and let rest.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Salad

In a large bowl, combine the mixed greens, diced red bell pepper, halved grape tomatoes, and thinly sliced red onion. Toss gently to mix.

  3. 3

    Make the Dressing

In a small bowl, whisk together the olive oil, lime juice, honey, and chopped cilantro. Season to taste with salt and black pepper.

  4. 4

    Assemble the Salad

Flake the grilled salmon into large pieces and add it to the salad. Drizzle the citrus-cilantro dressing over the top and sprinkle with toasted spicy pecans. Toss gently to combine and serve immediately.
