Beef Ribs

Method

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Ribs

Preheat your oven to 275°F (135°C). Remove the membrane from the back of the beef ribs and trim any excess fat.

  2. 2

    Season the Ribs

In a small bowl, mix together salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and smoked paprika. Rub the spice mixture all over the beef ribs, ensuring they are evenly coated.

  3. 3

    Sear the Ribs

In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Sear the ribs on all sides for about 3-4 minutes per side until browned.

  4. 4

    Bake the Ribs

Transfer the seared ribs to a baking dish, cover tightly with aluminum foil, and place in the preheated oven. Bake for 3 hours.

  5. 5

    Baste with BBQ Sauce

After 3 hours, remove the ribs from the oven and carefully uncover. Brush the BBQ sauce generously over the ribs. Return to the oven, uncovered, and bake for an additional 30 minutes.

  6. 6

    Serve

Remove the ribs from the oven, let them rest for 10 minutes, then slice and serve warm with additional BBQ sauce on the side.
