Prepare the Ribs
Preheat your oven to 275°F (135°C). Remove the membrane from the back of the beef ribs and trim any excess fat.

Season the Ribs
In a small bowl, mix together salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and smoked paprika. Rub the spice mixture all over the beef ribs, ensuring they are evenly coated.

Sear the Ribs
In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Sear the ribs on all sides for about 3-4 minutes per side until browned.

Bake the Ribs
Transfer the seared ribs to a baking dish, cover tightly with aluminum foil, and place in the preheated oven. Bake for 3 hours.

Serve
Remove the ribs from the oven, let them rest for 10 minutes, then slice and serve warm with additional BBQ sauce on the side.
