Preparation
- 1
Select Your Glass
Choose a short, heavy-bottomed glass (an Old Fashioned glass or rocks glass) to enhance the drinking experience.
- 2
Add Ice
Place a large ice cube into the glass. This will help chill the drink without diluting it too quickly.
Mixing
- 3
Add Bourbon
Pour 2 oz of Four Roses Bourbon over the large ice cube in the glass.
- 4
Add Bitters
Add 2 dashes of Angostura Bitters on top of the bourbon. This will provide a depth of flavor to the cocktail.
Garnishing
- 5
Express Orange Peel
Take a strip of orange peel and hold it over the drink with the outer side facing down. Gently twist the peel to release the essential oils into the drink.
