Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Espresso

Brew 1 cup of espresso using your preferred method. Allow it to cool slightly.

  2. 2

    Mix the Base

In a large mixing bowl, combine 1 cup of mascarpone cheese and 2 cups of eggnog. Use a whisk or electric mixer to blend until smooth and creamy.

Combine Ingredients

  1. 3

    Add Liquors

Pour 1 cup of amaretto and 0.5 cups of Vin Santo into the mascarpone and eggnog mixture. Stir gently until well combined.

  2. 4

    Incorporate Espresso

Slowly add the brewed espresso to the mixture, stirring continuously to ensure everything is well mixed. If desired, add 1 tsp of coffee grounds for extra depth of flavor.

Assembly

  1. 5

    Layer the Tiramisu

In a trifle dish or individual serving glasses, spoon a layer of the mascarpone mixture at the bottom. If desired, add ladyfinger cookies soaked briefly in espresso or eggnog before adding the next layer of the mixture.

  2. 6

    Repeat Layers

Continue layering the mascarpone mixture and ladyfingers until the dish is filled, finishing with a layer of the mascarpone mixture on top.

Finish and Serve

  1. 7

    Chill

Cover the tiramisu and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight, to allow the flavors to meld and the texture to set.

  2. 8

    Add Toppings

Before serving, dust the top with cocoa powder and sprinkle chocolate shavings if desired.

  3. 9

    Serve

Scoop out portions of the tiramisu and enjoy your Tiramisu Eggnog with friends and family!
