Prep the Ingredients
Start by peeling and deveining the prawns if not already done. Chop the parsley finely and set aside. If using whole Calabrian chili, chop it finely as well.
Cooking

Heat the Oil
In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat until it shimmers.

Sauté Garlic
Add the garlic flakes to the hot oil and sauté for about 1-2 minutes until fragrant, being careful not to let them burn.

Add Prawns and Chili
Add the prawns to the skillet along with the Calabrian chili. Cook for about 3-4 minutes or until the prawns turn pink and are cooked through.

Season and Combine
Season the mixture with salt and pepper to taste. If desired, squeeze in some lemon juice and add lemon zest for brightness.

Plate the Dish
Serve the prawns Aglio e Olio immediately with slices of toasted sourdough bread on the side.
