Juicing

Prepare the Fruits
Wash the grapefruit and oranges thoroughly under cold running water to remove any dirt or pesticides.

Cut the Fruits
Using a sharp knife, cut the grapefruit and oranges in half horizontally.

Juice the Fruits
Using a citrus juicer or reamer, extract the juice from each half of the grapefruit and orange. Make sure to catch any seeds that may fall out during juicing.

Strain the Juice (Optional)
If you prefer a pulp-free juice, strain the freshly squeezed juice through a fine mesh sieve or cheesecloth into a pitcher.

Sweeten (Optional)
If desired, stir in honey to the juice to add sweetness. Adjust the amount to taste.

Garnish
Add mint leaves to the juice for a refreshing touch. You can also garnish with a slice of grapefruit or orange on the rim of the glass.
