Method

Preparation of Accompaniments

  1. 1

    Prepare Blini

If using store-bought blini, follow package instructions for heating. If making from scratch, prepare a basic blini batter and cook in a skillet until golden brown on both sides.

  2. 2

    Prepare Crème Fraîche

Spoon the crème fraîche into a serving bowl and set aside. This will be used as a rich topping for the caviar.

  3. 3

    Chop Garnishes

Finely chop chives and red onion. Place them in small serving dishes to accompany the caviar.

  4. 4

    Prepare Lemon Wedges

Cut the lemon into wedges and arrange on a serving plate.

Serving

  1. 5

    Prepare Serving Dish

Place ice in a shallow bowl and nest the caviar dish on top of the ice to keep it chilled during serving.

  2. 6

    Assemble the Plate

Arrange the blini, crème fraîche, chives, red onion, and lemon wedges around the caviar on the serving platter.

  3. 7

    Serve and Enjoy

Serve the Calvisius Imperial Caviar with the prepared accompaniments. Guests can take a blini, add a dollop of crème fraîche, sprinkle with chives or red onion, and top with a spoonful of caviar. Squeeze a little lemon juice on top for added flavor.
