Method
Fries Preparation
- 1
Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
- 2
Prepare the Sweet Potatoes
Wash and peel the sweet potatoes. Cut them into thin fries, approximately 1/4 inch thick.
- 3
Season the Fries
In a large bowl, combine the sweet potato fries, olive oil, salt, black pepper, paprika, and garlic powder. Toss well until the fries are evenly coated.
- 4
Arrange on Baking Sheet
Spread the seasoned sweet potato fries in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Make sure they are not overcrowded for even cooking.
- 5
Bake the Fries
Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through, until they are crispy and golden brown.
Honey Drizzle Preparation
- 6
Prepare the Honey Drizzle
In a small bowl, mix together the regular honey and hot honey (if using) until well combined.
Serving
- 7
Serve the Fries
Once the fries are done baking, remove them from the oven and let them cool for a minute. Drizzle the honey mixture over the fries before serving.
