Garnishes (optional)

Method

Brewing the Tea

  1. 1

    Boil Water

In a large pot, bring 4 cups of water to a rolling boil over high heat.

  2. 2

    Steep Tea

Once boiling, remove the pot from heat and add the 4 tea bags. Allow to steep for 5-7 minutes, depending on your preferred strength.

Sweetening the Tea (optional)

  1. 3

    Add Sugar

If you prefer sweetened iced tea, add 1 cup of granulated sugar to the hot tea while it is still warm. Stir until fully dissolved.

  2. 4

    Add Lemon Juice

Stir in 2 tablespoons of lemon juice for added flavor.

Cooling and Serving

  1. 5

    Cool Tea

Allow the tea to cool to room temperature. Once cooled, transfer the tea to a pitcher and refrigerate until chilled.

  2. 6

    Serve

Serve the chilled tea over ice in tall glasses. Garnish with lemon slices and fresh mint leaves if desired.
