Method
Preparing the Fresh Fruit

Wash and Chop
Rinse the strawberries and blueberries under cold water. Hull the strawberries and slice them into halves or quarters, depending on your preference. Peel and slice the banana.

Combine
In a medium bowl, combine the prepared strawberries, blueberries, and banana slices.
Making Candied Pecans

Add Sugar and Vanilla
Sprinkle the granulated sugar over the toasted pecans, add the vanilla extract, and stir well. Continue to cook for another 2-3 minutes until the sugar has melted and coated the pecans.

Cool the Pecans
Remove the skillet from the heat and transfer the candied pecans to a parchment paper-lined plate to cool completely.
Assembling the Bowl

Layer the Yogurt and Granola
In a serving bowl, add a layer of vanilla yogurt (about 1 cup). Sprinkle 1/2 cup of granola over the yogurt.

Add Fresh Fruit
Spoon the mixed fresh fruit on top of the granola.

Top with Candied Pecans
Sprinkle the cooled candied pecans over the fresh fruit.
