Method

Prepare the Chicken

  1. 1

    Prepare Dry Mixture

In a large bowl, combine flour, salt, black pepper, paprika, and garlic powder. Mix well and set aside.

  2. 2

    Prepare Wet Mixture

In another bowl, whisk together eggs and milk until well combined.

  3. 3

    Coat Chicken

Dip each chicken thigh into the wet mixture, then coat thoroughly in the dry mixture. Ensure an even coating.

Cook the Chicken

  1. 4

    Heat Oil

In a large skillet, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat until shimmering.

  2. 5

    Fry Chicken

Carefully place the coated chicken thighs in the hot oil. Fry for about 7-8 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and cooked through.

  3. 6

    Drain Chicken

Once cooked, remove the chicken from the skillet and place on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.

Prepare Toppings

  1. 7

    Cook and Chop Bacon

While the chicken is cooking, cook the bacon in a separate skillet over medium heat until crispy. Remove and drain on paper towels. Chop into small pieces.

  2. 8

    Mix Toppings

In a large bowl, combine the chopped bacon, shredded cheddar cheese, diced tomato, and diced red onion.

  3. 9

    Add Ranch Dressing

Drizzle ranch dressing over the topping mixture and toss to combine.

Assemble the Dish

  1. 10

    Plate Chicken

Place the fried chicken on a serving platter.

  2. 11

    Top Chicken

Spoon the topping mixture over the fried chicken.

  3. 12
