Prepare the Shrimp
Peel and devein the shrimp. If desired, cut them in half lengthwise for a more elegant presentation.

Slice the Cucumber
Wash the cucumber thoroughly. Slice it thinly into rounds or half-moons, depending on your preference.

Prepare the Avocado
Cut the avocado in half, remove the pit, and carefully scoop the flesh out with a spoon. Cut into slices or cubes.

Blend the Marinade
In a blender, combine the lime juice, jalapeño pepper (seeded for less heat if desired), and garlic cloves. Blend until smooth.

Taste the marinade and add salt and black pepper to your liking.

Combine the Shrimp and Marinade
In a large bowl, combine the prepared shrimp with the marinade. Make sure the shrimp are fully submerged in the liquid.

Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 15-20 minutes, allowing the shrimp to cook in the acidity of the lime juice.
