Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Ingredients

Peel and slice the cipolini onions. Clean and slice the mushrooms. Tear the bufala mozzarella into small pieces.

  2. 2

    Sauté the Onions

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the cipolini onions and sauté until they are soft and translucent, about 5-7 minutes.

  3. 3

    Cook the Mushrooms

Add the sliced mushrooms to the skillet with the onions. Season with salt and black pepper. Cook for another 5-7 minutes until the mushrooms are tender and have released their moisture.

  4. 4

    Combine and Add Cheese

Reduce the heat to low, and add the torn bufala mozzarella to the skillet. Stir gently until the cheese begins to melt and combine with the mushroom and onion mixture.

  5. 5

    Finish with Truffle Oil

Drizzle the white truffle oil over the mixture and stir gently. Remove from heat.

  6. 6

    Serve

Garnish with chopped fresh parsley and serve warm as an appetizer or side dish.
