Method

Pasta Preparation

1

Cook the Fettuccine

In a large pot of salted boiling water, add the fettuccine pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Shrimp Preparation

2

Season and Cook the Shrimp

In a bowl, toss the shrimp with Cajun seasoning until evenly coated. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the seasoned shrimp and cook for about 2-3 minutes per side, or until shrimp are pink and opaque. Remove from the skillet and set aside.

Alfredo Sauce Preparation

3

Make the Alfredo Sauce

In the same skillet used for the shrimp, melt the butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant. Stir in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Reduce heat and add the grated Parmesan cheese, stirring until melted and smooth. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.

Combine and Serve

4

Combine Pasta and Sauce

Add the cooked fettuccine and shrimp to the Alfredo sauce, tossing gently to combine and heat through. Cook for an additional 1-2 minutes if needed.

Garnish with chopped parsley and serve immediately. Enjoy your Cajun Shrimp Alfredo!
