Pasta Preparation
Cook the Fettuccine
In a large pot of salted boiling water, add the fettuccine pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
Shrimp Preparation
Season and Cook the Shrimp
In a bowl, toss the shrimp with Cajun seasoning until evenly coated. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the seasoned shrimp and cook for about 2-3 minutes per side, or until shrimp are pink and opaque. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
Alfredo Sauce Preparation
Make the Alfredo Sauce
In the same skillet used for the shrimp, melt the butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant. Stir in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Combine and Serve
