Method

Burger Preparation

1

Form the Burger Patty

Take the ground beef and shape it into a patty that is slightly larger than the pretzel bun. Season with salt and pepper.

2

Cook the Burger

Heat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the patty for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until it reaches your desired doneness. In the last minute of cooking, place the Swiss cheese on top to melt.

3

Assemble the Burger

Spread garlic aioli on the bottom half of the pretzel bun. Place the cooked patty with melted Swiss cheese on top. Add bacon jam, arugula, and pickled onions. Top with the other half of the bun.

Fries Preparation

4

Prepare the Potatoes

Wash and peel the russet potatoes. Cut them into thin shoestring fries.

5

Fry the Potatoes

In a deep fryer or large pot, heat the vegetable oil to 350°F (175°C). Add the shoestring fries in batches and fry until golden brown and crispy, about 3-4 minutes. Remove and drain on paper towels, then season with salt.
