Prepare the Slaw

Make the Asian Slaw
In a large bowl, combine the shredded cabbage, shredded carrots, and chopped cilantro. In a separate small bowl, whisk together rice vinegar, sesame oil, sugar, and salt. Pour the dressing over the slaw and toss to combine. Set aside to marinate while you prepare the burgers.
Cook the Burgers

Form and Cook the Patties
In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef with salt and black pepper. Form into 4 equal-sized patties. Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired doneness. During the last minute of cooking, brush the patties with Korean BBQ sauce.

Assemble the Burger

Put It All Together
Toast the burger buns on the grill or in a toaster. Spread boom boom sauce on the bottom bun, add the beef patty, top with Asian slaw, grilled pineapple, sliced jalapeños, and chopped scallions. Place the top bun and serve.
