Mushroom Preparation

Method

Mushroom Preparation

  1. 1

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

  2. 2

Clean the portobello mushrooms with a damp paper towel to remove any dirt.

  3. 3

Remove the stems from the mushrooms and use a small spoon to carefully scoop out the gills, creating space for the stuffing.

  4. 4

Brush the tops and insides of the mushrooms with olive oil and season with salt and black pepper.

Stuffing Preparation

  1. 5

In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, shredded mozzarella cheese, grated parmesan cheese, chopped parsley, minced garlic, Italian seasoning, red pepper flakes, black pepper, and salt.

  2. 6

Mix well until all ingredients are thoroughly combined and a creamy mixture forms.

Stuffing the Mushrooms

  1. 7

Spoon the cheese mixture into each mushroom cap, pressing down lightly to ensure the stuffing holds.

  2. 8

Place the stuffed mushrooms on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Baking

  1. 9

Bake the stuffed mushrooms in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the mushrooms are tender and the cheese is bubbly and golden.

  2. 10

Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before serving.
