Method

Pork Chops

1

Prepare the Pork Chops

Preheat your grill or oven to medium-high heat. Season the pork chops with olive oil, salt, and black pepper. Brush generously with barbecue sauce.

2

Cook the Pork Chops

Grill or bake the pork chops for about 6-8 minutes on each side or until the internal temperature reaches 145°F (63°C). Baste with additional barbecue sauce during the last few minutes of cooking.

Country Green Beans

3

Cook the Bacon

In a large skillet, cook the bacon over medium heat until crispy. Remove and set aside, leaving the drippings in the skillet.

4

Sauté Vegetables

Add chopped onion and minced garlic to the skillet and sauté until translucent.

5

Cook the Green Beans

Add the green beans to the skillet, pour in the chicken broth, and bring to a simmer. Cook for about 10-15 minutes until the beans are tender. Crumble the cooked bacon and stir into the beans before serving.

Potato Puree

6

Prepare the Potatoes

Peel and chop the potatoes into even-sized pieces. Boil in salted water until tender, about 15-20 minutes.

7

Make the Puree

Drain the potatoes and return them to the pot. Add butter, milk, salt, and black pepper. Mash until smooth and creamy.
