1. Prepare the Batter
In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
2. Combine Wet Ingredients
In another bowl, beat the eggs, then add the milk, melted butter, and vanilla extract. Mix well.
3. Mix Together
Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients. Stir until just combined. Do not overmix.
4. Cook the Batter
Heat a non-stick skillet or griddle over medium heat. Pour 1/4 cup of batter for each pancake onto the skillet.
5. Flip and Serve
Cook until bubbles form on the surface and the edges look set, about 2-3 minutes. Flip and cook for another 2-3 minutes until golden brown. Serve warm.
