Method

Burger Patties

  1. 1

    Prepare the Lamb Mixture

In a large bowl, combine the ground lamb, minced garlic, chopped parsley, salt, black pepper, and cumin. Mix until well combined.

  2. 2

    Form the Patties

Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and form each portion into a patty, about ¾ inch thick. Press a small indentation in the center of each patty to prevent puffing during cooking.

  3. 3

    Cook the Patties

Heat olive oil in a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until they reach your desired doneness.

Tzatziki Sauce

  1. 4

    Prepare the Tzatziki

In a bowl, mix the Greek yogurt, grated cucumber, minced garlic, chopped dill, lemon juice, and salt until combined. Adjust seasoning to taste and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.

Burger Assembly

  1. 5

    Assemble the Burger

Toast the burger buns lightly on the grill or in the oven. On the bottom half of each bun, place a lamb patty, followed by crumbled feta cheese and a generous handful of arugula. Top with a spoonful of tzatziki sauce and place the top half of the bun.

  2. 6

    Serve

Serve the lamb burgers immediately while hot with additional tzatziki sauce on the side if desired.
