Brussels Sprouts

Spicy Aioli

Method

Preparing the Brussels Sprouts

  1. 1

    Preheat the Oven

Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).

  2. 2

    Prepare the Brussels Sprouts

Trim the ends of the Brussels sprouts and remove any yellow or damaged leaves.

  3. 3

    Cut the Brussels Sprouts

Cut the Brussels sprouts in half lengthwise. If they are particularly large, you can quarter them.

  4. 4

    Season the Brussels Sprouts

In a large bowl, toss the halved Brussels sprouts with olive oil, salt, black pepper, and garlic powder until evenly coated.

  5. 5

    Arrange on Baking Sheet

Spread the Brussels sprouts out in a single layer on a baking sheet, cut side down.

  6. 6

    Roast the Brussels Sprouts

Roast in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy, shaking the pan halfway through to ensure even cooking.

Making the Spicy Aioli

  1. 7

    Combine Ingredients

In a small bowl, combine mayonnaise, Sriracha sauce, lemon juice, and minced garlic.

  2. 8

    Mix Well

Stir until all ingredients are well combined and the mixture is smooth.

  3. 9

    Taste and Adjust

Add salt to taste, adjusting the spice level with more Sriracha if desired.

  4. 10

    Chill the Aioli

Cover and refrigerate the aioli for at least 15 minutes before serving to allow the flavors to meld.
