Shrimp Marinade

Prepare the Marinade
In a mixing bowl, combine tequila, melted butter, minced garlic, lime juice, chopped cilantro, salt, and black pepper. Whisk together until well combined.

Marinate the Shrimp
Add the shrimp to the marinade, making sure they are well coated. Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to infuse.
Cooking the Shrimp

Prepare the Bacon
While the shrimp marinate, preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Take the bacon slices and partially cook them in a skillet over medium heat for about 3-4 minutes until they are slightly crispy but still pliable.

Wrap the Shrimp
Remove the shrimp from the marinade. Take one shrimp and wrap it in a slice of partially cooked bacon. Secure with a toothpick if necessary. Repeat until all shrimp are wrapped.

Bake the Shrimp
Place the wrapped shrimp on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the bacon is crispy and the shrimp are cooked through.

Warm the Tortillas
While the shrimp are baking, warm the corn tortillas in a dry skillet over medium heat for about 30 seconds on each side until soft and pliable.

Assemble the Tacos
Once the shrimp are done baking, remove them from the oven and let them cool slightly. Place 2-3 bacon-wrapped shrimp on each tortilla. Top with diced avocado and pico de gallo.

Serve the tacos with lime wedges on the side for squeezing over the top. Enjoy your delicious Tacos de Camarones!
