Method

Preparation of Main Ingredients

  1. 1

    Prepare the Steak and Shrimp

Cut the steak into bite-sized cubes. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Set aside. Rinse the shrimp under cold water and pat dry with a paper towel.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Jalapeños

Slice the jalapeños in half lengthwise and remove the seeds if you prefer less heat.

Wrapping

  1. 3

    Wrap Ingredients

Take a slice of bacon and wrap it around a piece of steak, then place a jalapeño slice on top, followed by a shrimp. Secure with a toothpick. Repeat until all ingredients are used.

Cooking

  1. 4

    Cook the Platter

Preheat your grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Place the wrapped steaks, shrimp, and jalapeños on the grill/skillet. Cook for about 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally, until the bacon is crispy and the shrimp are cooked through.

Making Guacamole

  1. 5

    Prepare Guacamole

In a bowl, mash the avocados with a fork. Add lime juice, chopped green onions, salt, and garlic powder. Mix until well combined and creamy.

Serving

  1. 6

    Serve the Dish

Arrange the bacon-wrapped steak, shrimp, and jalapeños on a platter. Serve with green onion guacamole and a side of sour cream.
