    Prepare the Tomato Aioli

    In a small bowl, mix together mayonnaise, diced tomato, and lemon juice. Set aside.

    Roast the Portobello Mushrooms

    Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Clean the portobello mushrooms and remove the stems. Brush them with olive oil and sprinkle with garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Place them on a baking sheet and roast for 15-20 minutes, until tender.

    Toast the Ciabatta

    While the mushrooms are roasting, griddle the ciabatta slices over medium heat until golden and crispy on both sides.

    Assemble the Sandwich

    Spread a generous amount of the tomato aioli on each slice of toasted ciabatta. Place the roasted portobello mushrooms on top, followed by warm goat cheese, field greens, fresh basil, and pickled onions.
