Fried Pork Chop Po'boy

Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Pork Chops

Season the pork chops with salt, black pepper, and garlic powder on both sides.

  2. 2

    Bread the Pork Chops

Set up a breading station: place flour in one bowl, beaten eggs in another, and breadcrumbs in a third. Dredge each pork chop in flour, dip in eggs, and then coat with breadcrumbs.

  3. 3

    Fry the Pork Chops

Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Fry the breaded pork chops for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until golden brown and cooked through. Drain on paper towels.

  4. 4

    Prepare the Po'boy

Slice the Gambino's French bread in half and spread mayonnaise on both sides. Layer with lettuce, fried pork chop, tomato slices, and pickles.

  5. 5

    Cook the Fries

Prepare the frozen fries according to package instructions.

  6. 6

    Serve

Serve the Fried Pork Chop Po'boy with a side of fries.
