Pasta and Sauce

Method

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Cook the Pasta

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside, reserving 1/2 cup of pasta water.

  2. 2

    Sauté Garlic

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant, being careful not to burn it.

  3. 3

    Prepare Vegetables

Add a mix of your favorite vegetables (like bell peppers, zucchini, cherry tomatoes, and broccoli) to the skillet. Sauté for 5-7 minutes until they are tender but still crisp.

  4. 4

    Make the Sauce

Pour in the vegetable broth and heavy cream. Stir well to combine and bring to a gentle simmer. Let it cook for about 3-4 minutes until slightly thickened.

  5. 5

    Combine Pasta and Sauce

Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss to coat in the sauce. If the sauce is too thick, add some reserved pasta water to reach desired consistency.

  6. 6

    Finish with Cheese

Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until melted and well combined. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
