Mushrooms

Method

Preparation

1

Preheat the Oven

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

2

Prepare the Mushrooms

Gently clean the mushrooms with a damp cloth. Remove the stems and set them aside for later use.

Filling

3

Make the Filling

In a mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese, grated Parmesan cheese, minced garlic, chopped parsley, dried oregano, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined and smooth.

4

Chop the Stems

Finely chop the reserved mushroom stems and add them to the cheese mixture. Stir to combine.

Stuffing

5

Stuff the Mushrooms

Using a small spoon or a piping bag, generously fill each mushroom cap with the cheese filling, pressing down slightly to pack it in.

Baking

6

Bake the Stuffed Mushrooms

Place the stuffed mushrooms on a baking sheet drizzled with olive oil. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the mushrooms are tender and the filling is slightly golden.

Serving

7

Serve

Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes. Serve warm as an appetizer or snack.
