Clean the seafood
Rinse the red crab, mussels, and prawns under cold water. Remove any beards from the mussels and discard any that are open or broken. Cut the cod fillet into bite-sized pieces.

Add seafood
Once the sauce is simmering, add the cleaned red crab, mussels, prawns, and cod pieces. Cover the pot and let the seafood cook for about 10-15 minutes, or until the mussels open and the prawns are pink and opaque.

Serve the cioppino
Once the seafood is cooked, ladle the cioppino into bowls and serve with the grilled garlic bread on the side.
