House-Made Pickles

Special Sauce

Method

Beef Sliders

  1. 1

    Prepare the Beef Patties

In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Mix until just combined. Avoid over-mixing to keep the patties tender.

  2. 2

    Form the Patties

Divide the mixture into 8 equal portions and shape them into small patties, about 1/2 inch thick. Make a small indentation in the center of each patty to prevent them from puffing up while cooking.

  3. 3

    Cook the Patties

Heat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the patties for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired level of doneness. If using cheese, place a slice on each patty during the last minute of cooking to melt.

  4. 4

    Toast the Buns

While the patties are cooking, slice the slider buns and toast them lightly on the grill or in a toaster.

House-Made Pickles

  1. 5

    Prepare the Pickling Brine

In a saucepan, combine white vinegar, water, sugar, salt, and dill seeds. Bring to a boil, stirring until the sugar and salt are dissolved.

  2. 6

    Pickle the Cucumbers

Slice the cucumber into thin rounds or spears, depending on your preference. Place the cucumber slices into a clean, sterilized jar. Pour the hot pickling brine over the cucumbers, ensuring they are fully submerged. Let cool to room temperature, then refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving.

Special Sauce

  1. 7

    Make the Special Sauce

In a small bowl, combine mayonnaise, ketchup, mustard, garlic powder, and paprika. Mix well until all ingredients are fully incorporated. Adjust seasoning to taste.
