Method

Preparation and Marination

  1. 1

    Prepare the Marinade

In a large bowl, combine the soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic powder, onion powder, ground black pepper, salt, olive oil, and apple cider vinegar. Whisk until the sugar is dissolved and the marinade is well combined.

  2. 2

    Marinate the Ribs

Place the pork ribs in a large resealable plastic bag or a shallow dish. Pour the marinade over the ribs, ensuring they are well coated. Seal the bag or cover the dish and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight.

Cooking

  1. 3

    Slow Cook the Ribs

Preheat your slow cooker. Remove the ribs from the marinade and place them in the slow cooker. Pour a little of the marinade over the ribs for flavor, reserving the rest for later use. Cook on low for 6-8 hours or until the ribs are tender and fully cooked.

  2. 4

    Fry the Ribs

Once the ribs are cooked, carefully remove them from the slow cooker and allow them to cool slightly. Heat oil in a deep fryer or large skillet over medium-high heat. Fry the ribs in batches for 2-3 minutes on each side until they are crispy and golden brown.

Serving

  1. 5

    Toss and Serve

Toss the fried ribs in your choice of sauce or serve them on the side for dipping. Enjoy your sticky ribs with your preferred sauce from the selection.
