Method

Pumpkin Bread Pudding Preparation

  1. 1

    Preheat the Oven

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

  2. 2

    Prepare the Bread Mixture

In a large mixing bowl, combine the cubed bread with pumpkin puree, milk, heavy cream, eggs, granulated sugar, brown sugar, vanilla extract, pumpkin spice, and salt. Mix well until all ingredients are fully incorporated.

  3. 3

    Transfer to Baking Dish

Pour the mixture into a greased 9x13 inch baking dish. Make sure to spread the bread evenly throughout the dish.

  4. 4

    Bake the Pudding

Bake in the preheated oven for 45–55 minutes, or until the pudding is set and a knife inserted in the center comes out clean.

  5. 5

    Cool Down

Remove from the oven and allow it to cool for a few minutes before serving.

Dulce de Leche Sauce Preparation

  1. 6

    Prepare Sauce

In a small saucepan over low heat, pour in the sweetened condensed milk. Stir continuously until it thickens and turns a caramel color, about 10-15 minutes. Remove from heat and set aside.

Candied Pecans Preparation

  1. 7

    Cook Pecans

In a skillet over medium heat, melt the butter. Add the chopped pecans, granulated sugar, and cinnamon. Stir frequently until the sugar has melted and the pecans are well coated, about 5-7 minutes. Remove from heat and allow to cool.
