Chicken Tenders
Dipping Sauce
Method
Chicken Tenders Preparation
- 1
Prepare the Chicken
Cut the boneless chicken breasts into strips, about 1 inch wide.
- 2
Set Up Breading Station
In three separate bowls, place the flour mixed with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika in the first bowl. In the second bowl, beat the eggs. In the third bowl, add the breadcrumbs.
- 3
Bread the Chicken
Dip each chicken strip first into the flour, shaking off the excess, then into the egg, and finally coat with breadcrumbs, pressing gently to adhere.
- 4
Heat the Oil
In a large skillet, heat the vegetable oil over medium heat until it reaches 350°F (175°C). You can test the oil by dropping a small piece of bread into it; if it sizzles, it's ready.
- 5
Fry the Chicken Tenders
Carefully add a few breaded chicken strips to the hot oil, making sure not to overcrowd the pan. Fry for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and cooked through. Use a slotted spoon to remove them and place on paper towels to drain excess oil.
Dipping Sauce Preparation
- 6
Mix the Sauce
In a small bowl, combine the mayonnaise, ketchup, honey, mustard, and garlic powder. Stir until smooth and well blended.
- 7
Serve
Serve the chicken tenders hot with the dipping sauce on the side.
